Carnsight Communications, the boutique PR and social media agency based in Bath, has been named Agency of the Year in 2025’s Creative Bath Awards, among a competitive field of ten finalists.

Announced at Komedia on Wednesday 21 May, the award recognises the company’s outstanding achievements over the past year, including national press campaigns, creative social media content, community impact, and long-term growth.

Over the award year, the agency has:

  • Delivered over 1,000 pieces of media coverage, with national placements including The Times, The Telegraph, the BBC, and the Daily Mail, alongside consistent local coverage in the Bath Chronicle, Bath Life, and Somerset Live
  • Run standout campaigns for local clients including Sulis Hospital, The Coconut Tree, Otters Home Search, and Hummingbird Events, reaching millions of views
  • Grown its team by 67% and awarded 60% of them with promotions 60%, alongside increasing the company’s office space by 120%
  • Continued to support the local community through pro bono campaigns, mentoring, charity involvement, and social mobility initiatives

The win is a testament to Carnsight’s commitment not just to media success, but to value-led, people-first communications. As a Living Wage Employer offering a four-day week since its launch, the agency has proven that balance and ambition can go hand-in-hand.

Carnsight was founded in 2016 by Jessica Morgan, who was also shortlisted for the Founder award. Morgan co-founded local charitable festival, MarshFest, and was named one of Bath’s Most Inspirational Women in 2024. She was also a finalist in the South West Leadership Awards for Mentorship. She continues to support and nurture new talent as part of the Bristol Creative Industries and the Early Career’s Foundation mentoring programme.

Morgan comments: “Yes, we’re here to deliver stellar results. But we’re also here to make a meaningful difference. People first, always. At its core, PR is about creating mutually beneficial connections, something we pride ourselves on doing every single day.”

She adds: “Be it our team and clients, journalists and editors or the communities these stories impact, we always work with integrity and care. We try to give back more than we take, we lift others up, and we invest in a better creative future for all of us. These are the marks of real impact, and we’re proud to carry them.”

Leigh-Ann Hewer, Account Director, comments: “We’re a small team with big ambitions, and we’ve worked incredibly hard to deliver meaningful, creative, and effective PR and social media for our clients – many of whom are right here in Bath. It’s a real honour to be recognised by the creative community we’re so proud to be a part.”

She continues: “Even the smallest business, the tiniest creative act, or the simplest collaboration, can make a difference. The Creative Bath Awards are a wonderful celebration of the creative force that is our city, and we left feeling full of pride, inspiration and gratitude.”

Judges said: “Highly creative PR campaigns earned 1,000+ media placements, reaching millions and boosting visibility for many regional businesses. Tremendous year, really making a mark.”
