This week’s blog shines a light on our Account Director, Leigh-Ann, and the fantastic work she’s been doing with an organisation called Futures for All.
What is Future for All?
Futures for All is the UK’s leading social mobility charity, dedicated to levelling the playing field for young people in state education by offering fully funded, free-to-access work experience programmes.
Futures for All was founded in 2010 as Speakers for Schools by ITV’s political editor, Robert Peston. What started as a bold idea has grown into a nationwide movement, inspiring thousands of young people across the UK. Now, 15 years on and following a milestone anniversary, Futures for All has become one of the most influential social mobility charities in the country, as well as the largest provider of work experience opportunities. Their mission is to help young people take meaningful steps onto the career ladder.
How we’re getting involved
We’ve been incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to create a work experience opportunity at Carnsight for the young people involved with Futures for All. Leigh-Ann will be delivering a two-day online course, where participants will gain valuable insight into a range of skills: from understanding how social media and PR really work behind the scenes, to creating content and how storytelling and marketing go hand in hand.
We’re so excited to be able to work with Futures for All because we know just how important those first career steps are. It’s about helping young people not only find a path they enjoy, but one where they can truly thrive. We understand how crucial it is to have the right guidance and environment early on.
If you’re a business or individual interested in making a difference, we’d encourage you to reach out and explore how you can support Futures for All. Whether it’s offering work experience, sharing expertise or getting involved in their programmes, there are so many ways to help open doors for the next generation.
