Mantle [https://mantlespace.co.uk/] has announced a September opening launch event for its latest flexible workspace, One Station Approach, Harlow, marking a further step in the company’s continued expansion across the UK.
Located directly adjacent to the train station, the 65,000 sq ft building was acquired by Mantle in 2019 and benefits from a substantial amount of on-site parking. The first floor is being repositioned through a phased delivery of serviced office space, starting with 4,000 sq ft to accommodate 76 desks, with plans to expand to approximately 280 desks over time. The building will operate as a multi-let location and has already secured a strong level of pre-let interest.
Designed to support startups, SMEs, professional service firms and growing technology businesses, the space will offer a mix of coworking, private offices, meeting rooms, and event space, alongside breakout and collaboration areas in a high-spec, professional environment.
Positioned within the UK Innovation Corridor between London and Cambridge, Harlow is rapidly emerging as a hub for innovation-led businesses. With direct rail connections to London Liverpool Street in around 30 minutes, and ongoing investment into science, technology and commercial infrastructure, the town presents a compelling opportunity for businesses seeking high-quality workspace outside the capital.
Despite this growth, access to premium flexible workspace remains limited in towns like Harlow. Mantle’s entry into the market aims to address this gap, providing a level of quality and flexibility often only found in larger city centres.
Opening this summer, Mantle Space Harlow reflects a clear strategy to deliver premium, design-led flexible workspaces in underserved but high-potential regional locations.
The Harlow launch forms part of Mantle’s wider expansion strategy and will bring the total number of centres to nine (not including the recently acquired ASC building in Cambridge, which currently remains traditionally let) with further locations currently being explored both within and beyond its existing geographic footprint and a target of 25 sites total. Recent senior leadership appointments including Alexandra Livesey as fractional MD and Finance Controller, Matthew Palmes, have further strengthened the business’s capability to scale, supporting its ambition to expand its portfolio and brand presence over the coming years.
