HeyFlow x Aer Venture Studios
Driving media momentum for HeyFlow’s reproductive health inclusion mission
The Challenge
HeyFlow is a majority-female-founded SaaS platform focused on reproductive health inclusion in the workplace.
After securing a £235,000 investment from Aer Venture Studios, HeyFlow needed to raise awareness of this milestone and make its mission – to remove workplace barriers for women – more visible. With limited media presence to date, we were tasked with generating a significant presence across relevant publications. Starting in a period of economic uncertainty, HeyFlow has had to navigate a highly competitive and tough market for workplace technology solutions. The software as a service (SaaS) industry is home to many well-established players, making it challenging for new players to gain traction and trust. HeyFlow operates in a space that necessitates challenging entrenched social norms and systemic beliefs, and attitudes that support the lack of inclusion for women. The challenge was to position HeyFlow as an innovative force while communicating the significance of reproductive health inclusion to a wide audience, particularly in a competitive SaaS market.

The Solution
Getting under the skin of HeyFlow and Aer Venture Studios
We started by getting under the skin of both messages – HeyFlow’s investment and Aer Venture Studio’s launch – and advising the right hierarchy. Once agreed, we crafted a targeted, one-off media release, leveraging HeyFlow’s investment win to elevate the brand’s profile across local, tech, HR, and business media. We highlighted £235,000 investment from Aer Venture Studios, emphasising its mission to support reproductive health inclusion in the workplace and their growth plans.
Key highlights included:
- Securing coverage across national and industry-specific outlets, drawing attention to HeyFlow’s pre-seed funding efforts and long-term vision.
- Highlighting HeyFlow’s partnerships with major clients like Hitachi Vantara and BIMA to demonstrate their traction in the market.
- Emphasising HeyFlow’s mission to close the gender pay gap, reduce absenteeism, and reshape workplace culture, positioning them as pioneers of gender equity in the SaaS industry.
Through this targeted approach, we not only promoted the funding win but also cemented HeyFlow’s role as an impactful and innovative player in both the tech and HR sectors. We also crafted an entry for TechRound’s SaaS66 competition, which helped to secure a placement of 12 out of 66. All in all a big impact for a short, punchy campaign.
