Pockets
Launching a heritage fashion brand from the Midlands in the South West
The Challenge
2025 marked a major milestone for Pockets: the opening of its fifth store – and first in the South – in Bath, alongside a bold expansion into womenswear.
A premium independent fashion retailer with a 30-year heritage, Pockets has four established boutiques across the Midlands and is known for its curated edit of luxury international brands and exceptional in-store service.
We were appointed to manage press, photography, influencer and launch activity around the opening of Pockets Townhouse, a Grade I listed Georgian store nestled between Bath’s iconic Circus and Royal Crescent. We also supported the launch of womenswear at Pockets’ flagship boutique in Shrewsbury.

The Solution
Launching Bath’s newest fashion destination
We crafted a comprehensive PR and visibility campaign to introduce Pockets Townhouse as both a new opening and a statement of confidence for independent retail.
Our work spanned:
- Strategic messaging and press material development, including a flagship embargoed press release and reactive commentary
- Curated media outreach targeting multiple sectors – local, regional, fashion and lifestyle, retail trade, business, and national
- A professional photography brief and shoot with Jen Allan to showcase the building’s Georgian architecture and the in-store experience
- Media and influencer launch event management at the Bath boutique
- Social media and influencer collaboration support with key local names and lifestyle creators
Through this multi-channel approach, we positioned Pockets as a heritage retailer with modern sensibility, celebrating craftsmanship, personal service, and the timeless appeal of bricks-and-mortar retail.
The results
