WOW. What a year.
As we edge towards the end of 2025, it feels like a good moment to pause, take stock, and reflect on what’s been a genuinely huge year for Carnsight.
From award wins and record-breaking coverage to new clients, meaningful causes, and a lot of miles on the train network, this year has been full, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding.
The headlines (because PRs love a good stat)
Let’s start with the numbers, because they certainly tell a story. This year, we:
-
Secured 700+ pieces of PR coverage
-
Achieved an estimated 14.5 million views
-
Reached a combined audience of 2.21 billion
-
Drafted over 3,000 social media posts across platforms
We’ve also seen our strongest year yet for national coverage, with features and commentary landing in titles including Forbes, The Times and Sunday Times, BBC, The Independent, The Guardian, Stylist, Women’s Health, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Mirror, and many more.
Behind every one of those numbers is a conversation, a pitch, a follow-up email, a strategy session, and often a journalist on the other end of the phone. It’s never just volume for volume’s sake! We’re all about relevance, credibility, and long-term impact.
Recognition that meant a lot
One of the proudest moments of the year was winning Creative Bath’s Agency of the Year award. Awards aren’t why we do what we do, but being recognised by our local creative community, and for work that often happens quietly behind the scenes, meant a great deal to the whole team. It felt like a real nod to the consistency, care, and graft that go into our work every day.
The work (aka… a lot of hats)
This year looked different for every client, and that’s exactly how we like it. Over the past 12 months, we’ve:
-
Written blogs, newsletters, web updates, press releases, and thought-leadership pieces
-
Ghostwritten expert commentary and opinion for local, trade, and national media
-
Optimised social media profiles and designed graphics, banners, and brand assets
-
Run internal content shoots (very informal!) and worked alongside some amazing professional photographers for client shoots
-
Delivered Four Lens Messaging sessions and social media immersion sessions
-
Secured podcast placements for clients (and appeared on a few ourselves!)
-
Hosted events, attended events, spoken at them, and occasionally sprinted between them
-
Delivered webinars, reviews, and strategy presentations
-
Sat on the phone with journalists, editors, founders, and marketing teams, sometimes for five minutes, sometimes for a few hours
We’ve worked locally, nationally, and everywhere in between – from east to London, and west to Wales – helping brands figure out what they want to say, who they want to reach, and how to show up consistently and credibly.
Giving back
Alongside client work, giving back has remained important to us. This year, we:
-
Donated to the Stroke Association at Christmas
-
Supported Macmillan through Jess’s fundraising walk
-
Welcomed one work experience student and one intern, helping open the door to the industry and sharing what PR actually looks like day-to-day
These things don’t always make the loudest headlines, but they matter to us, and they’re part of how we want to operate as a business.
The people behind it all
None of this happens in isolation.
To our team – for the creativity, calm heads, sharp instincts, and humour you bring every day;
To our clients – for trusting us with your brands, stories, and reputations;
To our friends, families, collaborators, and business community – for the support, referrals, cheerleading, and encouragement along the way;
Thank you! Seriously. We couldn’t have done it without you all.
Looking ahead
Next year is a big one. In January, Carnsight turns 10 years old (technically on 2 January, but we’ll be celebrating properly in February with our brilliant clients, friends, families, and business community).
Ten years of building something thoughtful, resilient, and rooted in relationships feels worth celebrating, and we can’t wait to mark it together.
For now, we’re heading into the final stretch of the year feeling proud, grateful, and excited for what’s next. Here’s to another great year ahead, and if you’ve been part of this one in any way, thank you!
