In our ‘two minutes with’ blog posts, you can get to know the members of Carnsight Communications even better. Today, we’re introducing work experience student, Sophie!

Sophie will be joining us for a week, learning all things PR and Social Media.

Name: Sophie Morgan

Job Title: Work Experience

Why are you interested in PR and Social Media? I’m Interested in PR and social media because from learning about marketing in A level Business Studies, I’ve been introduced to what goes on behind the scenes of how a brand reaches the correct audience.  

Preferred social media channel: TikTok is probably my go-to, but I also enjoy scrolling on Instagram Reels. 

How do you have coffee in the morning: Yes, I love my coffee. I have got into it more recently from working in a coffee shop.

Dream job as a child: Chef/Baker, I love cooking but realised later I wouldn’t be able to handle the rush of the kitchen environment (too stressful for me).

Sum yourself up in three words: Creative, Ambitious, Curious. 

Star sign: Capricorn (Jan 1st).

Grew up and born:I grew up in Marshfield (haven’t moved since) and was born in bath.

Favourite movie: Used to be the Devil wears Prada when I was younger but now, I watch more series than films (Currently watching ‘the Boys’).

Favourite dog breed: Bernese Mountain Dogs. 

Any pets: I have a dog called Ronnie (Cocker spaniel).

Favourite word: Discombobulated.

Least favourite word: Brolly (shortened umbrella).

Playlist:My favourite song at the moment is List of people by Tame Impala.

Dream destination: I would love to go to Japan (for the sushi) or the Maldives (for the beaches).

What’s one thing about you we’d never guess? When I was younger, I was 1st in the UK at subway surfers for a season. 

Name three things that make you happy:Cooking, Pool holidays, Chocolate desserts.
